Pulse Fitness came to us as a fitness app with strong sign-ups but weak habit formation, losing members before value ever landed.

The challenge

The work began with a hard look at what was getting in the way. Pulse Fitness had momentum, but the experience around it wasn’t carrying its weight — and the gap was costing the business in ways that were easy to measure and easy to ignore.

What we did

We reimagined onboarding and rebuilt the daily loops around small, repeatable wins that kept people coming back.

Every decision was tested against a single question: does this move the metric that matters? We worked closely with the team, shipped in tight increments, and kept the focus on outcomes rather than output.
